Been a photojournalist for 27 years and have seen pretty much the entire world and all the baggage that goes along with being on the road most of my life. A few years ago I had the chance to transfer to Washington and cover national politics with most of my weekends off so I jumped on it and have been building poultry housing and rasing chickens ever sence. My wife and I got a house out in the mountains of Virginia and my daughter and I have been hard at work on raising d'Anver's. We raise Quail d' Anver's and have some pretty good stock. We had some problems this past summer with a coon but I have taken steps and all seems quiet for now. We sell adults, peeps, and eggs but our operation is small and just getting started so we have small lots of birds for now. Our plans are to grow in the next couple of years and to start showing at larger shows. So far we have only shown at the county fair. My daughter Lizzy really runs the show I just do what Im told. We are both excited about the club and learning as much as we can.
